Sunny Wang, PE, is the Water Resources Manager at the City of Santa Monica where he oversees both water and wastewater operations. He has more than 20 years of experience designing and implementing conventional and advanced water treatment technologies, including desalination and potable reuse around the world. 

 

Wang is also experienced in alternative delivery methods for water and wastewater infrastructure projects. He currently leads the City’s efforts to diversify its water supply portfolio using innovative projects for potable reuse and concentrate recovery as well as restoring local groundwater supplies through advanced treatment technologies.

 

Sunny has a BS and an MS in Environmental Engineering from the University of California, Riverside.
