Shivaji Deshmukh, PE, is General Manager of the Inland Empire Utilities Agency (IEUA) with over 20 years of experience in the water and wastewater industry. IEUA serves approximately 930,000 people in the western San Bernadino County.

 

Before IEUA, Deshmukh was the Assistant General Manager at the West Basin Municipal Water District for nine years. Prior to that, at Orange County Water District, he focused on the implementation, design, and construction of the Groundwater Replenishment System, which recycles 130 million gallons/day of potable reuse water.

 

Deshmukh holds both a BS and MS in Civil Engineering from UCLA, specializing in reverse osmosis membranes.
