Jeff Mosher is the General Manager of Santa Ana Watershed Project Authority (SAWPA), serving a region that includes parts of four counties and over 6 million people. He oversees operation of the Brine Line, a 73-mile, $380 million regional collection system that manages salinity in the watershed by transporting saline wastewater discharges and he directs SAWPA’s regional plans, programs, and projects that protect the Santa Ana River basin to maximize beneficial uses within the watershed.

Before SAWPA, Jeff worked for an engineering design firm providing support for recycled water and groundwater treatment facilities. He is the former Executive Director of the National Water Research Institute, former Chief Research Officer for the Water Environment and Reuse Foundation (WE&RF), and the former Research Director for the WateReuse Foundation. Jeff was the WateReuse Association Person of the Year in 2017; received the Water Environment Federation President’s Award in 2016; and received the American Membrane Technology Association (AMTA) Member of the Year in 2015.

 

He has a BS in Chemistry from the College of William and Mary and an MS in Civil and Environmental Engineering from George Washington University.
